Posing and Direction is crucial with my clients.
Every time I get ready for a picture shoot with a client, I start with a simple posture and gradually work my way up. It's crucial to observe which photo best complements your client's stance. Some positions and angles just don't suit everyone. When you're photographing a client and you feel stuck and unsure of what to do next, rotate, advises Sue Bryce of Portrait Masters.
Your clients will feel in good hands and you will feel quite confident when you tell them what to do. Don't be scared to try new things, and never stop being creative.
Hand gestures and position
The client's hands' posture is another crucial factor. I discovered that my clients just lack hand-hand coordination:-) Watch out for really bizarre hand gestures when it occurs since they can sabotage the entire shot. Please look at my snapshot below to discover how simple it is to sabotage your shot when participating in a wedding photography event.
Only a few seconds later, the identical photo had an entirely different appearance. Observe everything that is happening in front of your camera to ensure that your body language is appropriate for the photo composition you have established.
The image below is a fantastic illustration of the proper hand posture for a couple's portrait session.
